Angels Among Us Youth Camp Located on Epoufette Bay on Lake Michigan
Angels Among Us Youth Camp is an outdoor adventure camp designed for kids that have lost a parent or both parents to tragedy or who are in foster care due to other parental reasons. Angels Among Us Youth Camp will provide an opportunity for campers to engage in the below listed adventures during their 4 day stay at camp. The camp will provide an opportunity for children of similar backgrounds to feel comfortable with others they can relate to; while undergoing self-discovery of their true capabilities and overcoming challenges and fears. Presumably, the campers will leave with life-long bonds with fellow campers, counselors, teachers, mother nature, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Meals will be provided by local restaurant, Cut River Inn. Lodging will be provided onsite and from tents while on an overnight backpacking excursion. Tuition is free.

Some such adventures the campers will be exposed to are as follows:
-Ethics in the Outdoors
-Physical Fitness Activities
-Kayaking to Nelson Shoals and Rookery on Lake Michigan
-Snorkeling the "William B. Aldrich" a 1800 era wooden shipwreck
-Fishing in the on-site pond
-Grief Counseling and Mentoring provided by professionals
-Peer Discussion Groups
-Team Building Skills
-Spelunking in the 1/4 mile Fiborn Karts Cave system and traversing through a. 7' waterfall while inside the cave
-Backpacking through the Cut River Gorge and setting up a self-sustained overnight camp nearby
-Archery target practice
-Teachings of loca Chippewa, Odawa, and Huron Historyl
-Craft Making
-Teachings on the local historic fur trade
-Teachings of the historic Jesuit Missionaries travels to the region
-Wilderness first aid and survival skills
-Swimming in Epoufette Bay
-Hiking into the historic Fibom Quarry and Ghost Town
-Hiking along the Brevort Sand Dunes and Beach
-Beach Volleyball
-Mountain Biking
-Fly-tying and Fly-fishing lessons
-Horseback Riding and care for pack animals and tack
-Visit to Garlyn Zoological Park
-Campfire Cooking Lessons
-Berry picking (based upon availability)
-Possible trip to the Historic Mackinac Island State Park
-Wild crafting
